Rad Programs

     The Oxford Police Department offers two RAD programs.  The first is RAD-Rape Aggression and Defense, which presents realistic and practical self defense tactics and techniques for women to defend themselves in the event of an attack.  The second is RAD-Kids: Resist Aggression Defensively, which is intended for children and younger adults and provides them with the interpersonal skills needed for peaceful and safe conflict resolution.

       If you are FORCED to defend yourself, remember your best weapon is your voice:  SCREAM !!!   

      Strike at a vulnerable area.  Your aim is to INFLICT PAIN in the fastest possible manner.  Some Basic Vulnerable Areas Are:  the EYES, the GROIN, the KNEE AREA, the SHINS, and the INSTEP.

       Do whatever you can to GET AWAY !!!

  The RAD programs are grant funded. Due to fiscal constraints and limited grant funding there are no classes currently scheduled.
