The Oxford Police Department investigates all criminal matters to the fullest extent possible. Initial investigations are conducted by the Patrol Officer who initially answers the call for service. Follow up investigations are conducted by Detective Marcelonis.

In addition to OPD investigations, Detective Marcelonis is also an active member of the South County Task Force. The Task Force consists of the towns of Charlton, Dudley, Oxford, Southbridge and Webster. Through coordinated utilization of resources, personnel, and information, the Task Force is able to investigate criminal activities with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
